Read today that they are filming scenes for the re-make of the cult film "Hellboy" at the Cathedral. Any info as to how long they are filming for and what times?

Regards

Chris

I know they were filming Hellboy in the cathedral couple of weeks ago - it caused a bit of controversy as some people didn't think it was appropriate ! There's something being filmed there on Sat but I don't know if it's Hellboy again - I know Poldark are due to be filming here again this autumn too.

A big thank you to Rose and here club members for greeting us and showing us around during our visit. We hope to be in a position to reciprocate some time in the future.

The weather gods were kind to us given the prospect of storms etc. and I think all achieved what they wanted.

No doubt there will be a multitude of images being displayed in due course but to start things of here are a couple of mine.

Regards,

Tom

For those who have yet to visit Shepton Mallet Prison, it may not be there in a few years time and it was a great pleasure not only to get out but to be given the freedom just to roam around at will through all the cell blocks and offices. A very worthwhile visit.

Regards,

Tom

It was great to see everyone again and I'm so glad you enjoyed your trip to deepest Somerset despite the weather limiting our planned activities. My club-mates from Mid Somerset have enjoyed meeting you all too. :)
Here is a pic taken on our trek up to the top of Cheddar Gorge. Hope you agree it was worth all the effort for the spectacular views ! ;) :o

Hi Rose

Yes, it was good to meet up again with you and your new colleagues, and see where you are now living. Lindsay and I can see the attraction of the area.

I only saw the cellist that once, but the fiddler busker was at Penniless Porch quite a lot over the weekend and I took a few shots of her as well. Here she is with another busker receiving a lecture about the length of time allowed at that spot. Apparently she had overstayed the two hour limit which contravened the buskers' convention.
