Hi Rose,

That's cheating! You can get up early, take your pictures and the go back to bed. :)

Look forward to seeing something similar next weekend.

Kind regards,

Tom

Our Friday evening dinner will be here: http://www.crownatwells.co.uk/
It's on the market square, right next to the Cathedral and Bishops Palace :)
And a 10-15 minute walk from your hotel

Hi Rose,

The Crown looks good and we'll confirm numbers on Thursday.

What is the best time to photograph the Cloisters?

Regards,

Tom

They're only accessible from inside the cathedral so you'll be limited to your visit on Sunday as the cathedral is closed to the public Fri evening and Sat on the weekend of your visit :(

On Saturday 30th 'Rocktober' is taking place in Wells Market Place, near the Cathedral, from 10am to 4pm. Sorry to disappoint any of you 'eavymetal fans coming but this is a Geology based event. Things going on include the Wells Cathedral stonemason at work. Perhaps a chance for some Street photography?

Yes, it's the launch of Mendip Rocks, which is a geology themed event that runs for several weeks every autumn. We'll be in the market square Sat morning so we'll see what's up !

Hi Rose,

Read today that they are filming scenes for the re-make of the cult film "Hellboy" at the Cathedral. Any info as to how long they are filming for and what times?

Regards

Chris
