Fancy telling us so close to the time.
Anyway still looking forward to the Show on the Saturday.

A quick calculation for travel and show entry on the Tuesday for anyone who wants to attend the lecture:

Outbound Virgin Trains to Birmingham: £16:50
Inbound from Birmingham: £6
Show entry: £10.95
Superstage ticket: £10 (The Salgado talk is not yet shown on the booking website, but other tickets are £10.)

Total: £43-45 plus travel across London for a talk which will probably last an hour maximum.
Regards

Everyone has their tickets for the main leg of the journey to Birmingham and are free to make their own way to Euston for the 9:23 service we are booked on. Since the tickets are only valid on that train (unless it is cancelled), it is a worthwhile precaution to allow some extra travelling time in case of any delays.

For anyone who wants to travel to Euston together, I shall be at East Croydon station at 8:00 am. There are a number of trains leaving shortly afterwards which should ensure arrival at Euston with at least half an hour to spare. If you want to do this, it would be helpful if you reply to this post so that I know who to expect.

Also, a reminder that our train tickets are only valid with an admission ticket to the show, which can be bought in advance at a discount until 15 March. Those who are fortunate enough to be too young to qualify for the concession price can use the promotion code PAGBTPS17 to obtain a £3 discount.

We will. :D

Hopefully by now everyone has their show tickets, which are a prerequisite for the discounted rail fare. If not, you only have until midnight today to buy your ticket at a discount. After that, they become full price.

Mike,

Thank you for making all of the arrangements for the show. As always it was a very enjoyable day out especially as the wallet managed to stay closed.

You are very welcome, Tom. I will admit to to some temptation when it came to all the gear on display, but I limited the damnage to a new print box and some paper. Serious money was spent, though. Nearly too serious. My friend came away with a Fuji X-T2 for which the dealer made a valiant, but ultimately unsuccesful attempt to overcharge by £300 AND omit the bundled Domke bag.
