Model Shoot on Wednesday 30th July

It is proposed that on the last evening of the season we have a practical session that is a bit different.

Details are as follows:

Time: 7pm to 9pm
Venue: The Grove Park, Carshalton
Car parking : Westcroft Leisure Centre, Carshalton
Meet near the bridge entry to the park to the left of the entrance to the Leisure Centre.

If it looks like the weather will not be suitable we will hold the meeting at the club premises at 8pm and email everyone to let them know of the change of venue.

Please bring your cameras, preferably a fast lens, reflector if you have one and a flash.

It's not all that far from Wilderness Island, a reserve run by London Wildlife Trust. Not particularly large but worth a visit if you enjoy nature photography.

Not knowing the area particularly well is that the Leoni Bridge accessed from North Street or the bridge over the Wandle, accessed from Mill Lane?

The bridge is right next to the entrance to Westcroft leisure centre, Westcroft Road, Carshalton. Bridge has no name it provides access over Westcroft canal.

The weather forecast looks promising for tonight and I have just spoken to Nina to confirm that we will meet as planned at Grove Park at 7:00 pm.

Don't forget to bring a flash and/or fast lens for when it starts to get dark towards sunset.

Many thanks to Simone for being such a willing model, as well as to Nina and Wally for organising the event. An enjoyable time was had by all.

A reminder that everyone should send Nina their three best shots of the evening so that they can be forwarded to Simone. The club will be providing her with prints of her favourite shots.
