When I met with Croydon Library, we agreed a different stand to the one originally proposed as it gives us a bit more flexibility. The dimensions of the large central panels are 110 cm by 85cm (wW x H), while the side ones are each 55 cm x 85 cm. Allowing space for labels, we should be able to display about nine images, comprising of one on each of the side panels, three on the upper one and two in landscape format on the lower one.

Regarding selection, I suggest that everyon participating in the display rank each of the others' images. Five people have submitted images for consideration and I propose that each person should have their top ranked image shown. This means that everyone will have at least one image and the rest will depend on how the voting goes. If there is a tie, I will have the casting vote. To ensure anonymity, those voting should send me a PM with their choices of other people's pictures. Sound fair?
The five people who have submitted images and will participate in the vote are:
Nina and Wally expressed interest, but did not follow up with proposed images.
Oh, and just to add a bit of confusion to an otherwise ordered process, I took an image for my PAD yesterday which might be a contender. When it is posted, I'll update here and you can all tell me if you think it should be included.
The images will be put on display by me during the afternoon of 2 April, so I propose that we conclude the voting by midnight, 17 March and everyone can bring their selected images to the Wratten on 20 March. As it is Easter Week, there is no club meeting on 27 March which somewhat curtails the timetable unless people are prepared to make other arrangements to get the images to me.
Finally, the Library is happy for the images to be offered for sale and will not take any commission, so include prices if you wish to sell.
Can everyone respond ASAP so that we can commence the voting process.
