I'm wondering about mounting A4 size prints instead of A3 to squeeze in more images, and go with a slightly thinner mount too. So could well have half a dozen or so ready for the end of the week, though I will confirm that number.

How are we going to decide what gets presented if we run out of room?

Some of the images I'm considering though by no means all.

I'm now making an effort to go out and capture more of the "classic" sights of London rather than the newer stuff.

Thanks for posting these, Dave. The library is looking for images of popular tourist spots which, unfortunately, would rule out those images which do not depict a recognisable landmark. In particular, I would not consider Tracks to be eligible given that London Bridge station is not really a tourist destination.

Fair point about tracks, I think it probably slipped in there because it's so popular! Though its quite an iconic sight for those of us who spend an inordinate amount of time there waiting for trains, it has less appeal as a tourist destination!

Looking at some of the others they are photographer's images rather than the postcard style shots the panel are probably after - I shall renew my efforts :)

(I hope you like the use of the new term I've learned too :))

There is nothing wrong with an artistic impression of a location, but we should ensure that it can be readily recognised by members of the public. On that basis, shots such as those of the Lloyds Building and Leadenhall Market would not really fit, but The Scoop and Millenium Eye images do match the brief.

And yes, I have noted your use of a term that is new to you. :D

And I also know what you mean about London Bridge station. There have been times when Southern in particular has made the short journey to Croydon feel like you are travelling to the far side of the moon. ;)

I have these already mounted 40x50. Let me know if you think any of them would be any good.
Thanks.

I will only want to put 3 images on display, but have posted these for which you can chose the ones you would like.
I will print them on A4 paper and mount on 400 x 350.
