Hi Mike,

Please count me in, preferably for Saturday 1st March.

I will probably be living dangerously though and risking the credit card

BTW, I don't have a railcard, so no discounts apply in my case.

Thanks
Regards,

Note that there is a discount code in the latest EOS Magazine - it only works on the full price tickets (£13 down to £10).

I am happy to help you spend to the limit! ;)

For myself, I am hoping to get a good deal on a Panasonic G6 so that I can convert my old G3 for use with infrared.

Those who have dared to risk maxxing out their credit cards have all opted for the Saturday so far.

1 March is also my preferred day.

There is also the possibility that gcluer will be there that day, but will be travelling separately.

There is still time for others to join us.

So much for making plans. The new Olympus OM-D E-M10 (who thinks up these snappy names?) looks as though it will give the Panasonic G6 some stiff competition and could also take sales from the GX7. It will be interesting to see how Panasonic responds.

Unfortunately, since I posted this announcement the price of the train tickets has been increased. On the Saturday, the train fare to Birmingham is now £15 and if we catch the 18:40 to London, it wil cost £11. The next train at 19:00 still remains at £7-50. I have e-mailed all those who have expressed an interest in going to see what they wish to do and also left voicemail messages where I was able to (I did not have the correct phone number for one person).

Can everyone let me know their preference either by responding to the e-mail or replying to this post. I still intend to go to Birmingham on the Saturday, but would wait for the later train home if everyone else is in agreement.

Train tickets have now been purchased. We will still be travelling to Birmingham on the 10:03 service but will now be returning at 19:00. We have four seats around a table in both directions.
