The annual Master Trophy competition for themed images will be held on 10 July, when the judge will be Philip Pound. As announced at the beginning of the 2012/13 season, this year the theme is "Celebration". Members may submit a set of three images either as prints, DPI or slides and can be a mixture, e.g. two prints and one DPI. Entries must consist of entirely new work which has not been previously submitted to any other club competition. (Entries will be subsequently eligible for use in the monthly internal competitions and exhibition.)

The trophy will be awarded to the person who achieves the highest aggregate score. In the event of a tie, the judge will be asked to re-assess the tying entrants' photographs to select the overall winner.

Note that the competition is held as a single class and all images are judged on an equal basis. It is a condition of entry that members submitting work have fully paid subscriptions.

DPI entries should either be handed in on CD/DVD or memory stick at the previous week's meeting on 3 July or sent via e-mail to croydoncameraclub@gmail.com by midnight on Saturday, 6 July. Prints and slides should be brought along on the evening, as usual.

The competition rules are available in the printout distributed with the club bulletin at the start of the 2012/13 season or can be viewed on the website - http://www.croydoncameraclub.org.uk/Mem ... nRules.htm.
