Poppies

Postby gcluer » Fri 08 Jun 2018, 16:57

There is a lovely field of poppies at TQ397582 (Hesiers Hill). But parking is difficult and you have to fight your way through 2m high thistles and lots of stinging nettles. Worth it though.

We hope to see the results!

Ive kept notes from previous years about near-ish Poppy fields. For those keen on a possible scouting mission I have:

Eglantine Lane, Farningham, DA4 9JL
Lullingstone Lane, Eynsford

However, there's no guarantee the farmers have left fields as they were from previous years.

Don't know about this year, but I used to go to the field at the bottom of Salt Box Hill in Biggin Hill. There were a few good spots along Shire Lane from Keston too.
