So, a £5.5k Leica Monochrom is too wimpish for you. If even a £45k Phase One IQ3 ‘Achromatic’ 100MP medium format digital back is not enough for the dedicated monochrome enthusiast, then what? You need a 12 MP monochrome only 8 x 10 digital camera. Priced at $106k, taking taxes and sterling conversion into account, you can probably pick one up for a mere £90k. On location, you can be very confident that no one is going to pitch up alongside shooting the same camera.
