Image Critique Evening

Postby Mike Farley » Sun 23 Jul 2017, 07:53

At the meeting, I mentioned Gianni Gallasi, a photographer who specialises in monochrome architectural abstracts. This is a link to his website - http://giannigalassi.typepad.com. His style is along the lines of one of the images Steve brought.

Those who use Silver Efex Pro might be interested in Gianni Galassi's workflow for monochrome conversions - http://giannigalassi.typepad.com/blog/2 ... kflow.html. I find his SEP2 settings can be a good starting point for my own work.

Interesting style. I bet these buildings look ordinary and boring IRL. But the photographer makes them look futuristic.
Thanks for sharing ;)
