For those looking for picture frames, this is the closest I have found to the Wessex frames, both in style and price.

The main difference seems to be the use of plastic rather than glass as the transparent material over the image.

Daler board comes with either standard core or a slightly more expensive white core that does not turn yellow over time. Can you let me know which you prefer and the colour you require. There are quite a few whites in the Daler range.

Mike

I was hoping to follow your lead. However, I've amended my order.

At the last meeting of the summer season, I asked who would be interested in the mountboard offer. While I have a sufficiently large order to obtain free delivery, I am mindful that to date fewer people who said they would be intersted in participating have actually done so.

This is a reminder that I will not be organising a further joint purchase for the foreseeable future. If you need mountboard or other supplies, now is the time to place your order.

Hi Mike
My order is as follows:
Brown masking tape 1 x 11/2"
Antique White Mountboard x 5
Black Mountboard x 2
Backing Board x 2
I will be away for the first meeting on 6th September. If it's convenient I could collect from your house on Tuesday 12th September.
If not I will ask Tom or Wally to collect for me.
Thank you for arranging this for us.
Kind regards
Tina

I spoke to Wessex earlier as the frames have been removed from its website. As I suspected, the frames are no longer in stock due to low sales volumes and the remaining items have been disposed of in a bulk sale. Wessex have promised to see if they can identify the purchaser and whether the frames are now on sale from them. To be honest, that sounds like a bit of a long shot and I do not anticipate a positive outcome.

I'll provide an update if I hear anything further.

Thanks, Tina. I do not have long term storage facilities, so could I request that you make alternative arrangements.

If it helps, I will be taking delivery on 5 September should you be around then and want to collect from my house.

Hi Mike,

Do you know what price Wessex Picture's Pulp Board, item code PB1, would be? Considering as a partial alternative to the very robust but heavy Nuboard 2.

Thanks,

Graham
