Mountboard Purchase 2018

I have now taken receipt of our order. If anyone wants to come to my house to collect their purchases before tomorrow evening, they are welcome to do so by arrangement. Otherwise, as previously stated, everything will be available at the club tomorrow night (5 September).

As expected, the Green mountboard is still on backorder and will be here at a later date. However, Wessex did manage to find 10 sheets (out of 20) of Antique White, the remainder to be delivered in due course as well. Based on previous experience, I expect this to be within the next week. I will leave it to those who ordered the Antique White board to decide amongst themselves how they will share it out. All I ask is that those involved let me know the outcome so that I can keep track of what is happening.

The mountboard came in three large bags, which can be re-used for transportation home. Once again, I will leave it up to people to decide how to share the bags between themselves.

Thanks, David. As the club is taking the other 4 backordered boards, it makes sense for Tom and Iggy to take their allocation of 5 each. It keeps things simple.

An update on the backorder for the green and antique white mountboard.

Having initially advised that the green board had was on backorder, Wessex stated that in reality it had been discontinued and they had no further stock. They have now said they have found enough to fulfill our order, although it is likely to be the last they will ever be able to supply. They also have the remainder of our order for the antique white board in stock and I shall be bringing it to the club on 26 September. Could those who have placed orders ensure that they are in a position to collect it.

I can ask Wessex but I do need to order their own brand mountboard in multiples of 5. You either need to amend your request or find someone who wants the extra sheets before I will speak to them.
