I took this picture at Parliament Hill Park. The day was very grey so I thought that post it in Monochrome was the best choice.
I really like the shape of the dried trees and the contrast with the light. All the branches make an effect of veins in contrast with the sky and the boys seemed to be having fun with this enormous tree.
I hope you like it.

Hyde Park in London the other side of the bridge is Kensington Gardens a great place for hand feeding small birds such as Robins, Blue Tits even Coal Tits, watch out for the Parakeets though they will take the seed out of your hand and bite you as they fly away. Beware there are always lots of tourists around.

After honking at each other for a while they lined up in formation, a hush descended on the lake and then they took off.

Bett-wow. I had no idea there was a bridge in Kensington Gardens.
Steve- great timing and patience to that picture. Where did you take it?

A view of Croydon from Addington Hills. This was taken on Saturday 20th October at 7:30am; I'd just missed the sunrise although there wasn't much of a sky but it was misty.
