Falmouth University''s Landings 2018 is launched
As some know I'm studying for a 'Flexible' (distant learning) Photography MA with Falmouth University. As part of the course a number of us have contributed to an on-line collection of work called 'Landings 2018' that will be launched today. Here's a link to a 'taster' video, expertly conceived and ...

Emmanuel's Portrait lighting Workshop with Tamyka
Many thanks to Emmanuel for providing quite a very well-thought out introduction to the merits of studio lighting. Here's a few images I took at the workshop last night.
Looking forward to seeing some really excellent images.

Re: Where does this leave Street Photography?
It doesn’t happen often but if I am asked to delete an image I generally would, at least if it was of a person. I try to respect the person(s) I’m photographing and although the law is on my side it seems simpler to avoid the argument. Joel Meyerwitz, the American street photographer has written wit...

Not the cheapest of events however, £...

Re: Print boxes
Hi David,
I'd be interested in purchasing one 5" heavy duty box (6959/HD/5). Would be using it for mounted prints, not quite as heavy as straight card storage. Would like to include the optional foam and velcro pads.
Many thanks,
Graham

What to photo at this dark time of year?
A couple of suggestions: Canary Wharf Winter Lights (to 27th January) https://canarywharf.com/arts-events/events/winter-lights-2018/ and Lumier London (18-21 January) https://www.visitlondon.com/lumiere and of course there are the Christmas lights and markets, if not shot already. Best wishes of the...
