Re: New Photography Show on BBC4
Did many people see this? As a comparison to "Master of Photography" it was a vast improvement. Im not keen on the combative style of those knockout shows where a contestant leaves each week. Certain things Rankin said last night felt like he was acknowledging that. Much better to mentor t...

May's image is another flower photograph, this time using an LED Panel to give a clean background to this Clematis.

Re: Worm Moon March 2021
Well done on capturing so much detail! My favourite is the 4th one.
Brings to mind an Instagram photographer called cosmic_background who creates some amazing moon images. Im not sure how to link his page but you can lookup his username.

Re: Paul's Photo of the Month
For April I found a magpie (?) feather whilst walking through the forest with the kids. I liked the flame-like shapes so colourised it. It looks quite nice in B&W as well though. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51137600796_8fcd0f3c02_c.jpg Phoenix Feather by Paul Heester , on Flickr

Re: Paul's Photo of the Month
March has been low on inspiration for me. Blossom was an obvious target so Ive taken a more abstract approach. Multiple images taken on my phone as the rain came down today. Changed my perspective for a few of them and blended the layers in Photoshop with a tight crop. https://live.staticflickr.com/...

Re: Graham Cluer's Photos of the Month
Hi Graham Im loving that someone at the club has a drone! I like the idea of getting one myself but suspect it would spend alot of time in its case and not being flown! Did you get any shots top-down over the playpark? Im not up with the current rules, is that even allowed? Would have made a real gr...

Liking that set of images, you should do a club presentation of them (apologies if you have and I missed it).

Presume the infrared you refer to has made the grass all white and not the recent snow?

Re: Paul's Photo of the Month
With spring-like conditions and the crocuses fully out in our garden it seemed foolish not to take advantage. My Sigma 70-300 has a macro mode which throws everything out of focus to great effect so like to lay camera on grass and "hunt" for a nice composition. https://live.staticflickr.co...

Re: Digital SLR Photography magazine no more
Thanks for the detailed suggestions. Im sure I used to get Amateur Photographer years back so will probably skip that but will have a sneaky browse of the other two in a newsagent/supermarket first.
