Re: Skye 2020

Hi Sarah, I would be interested if we went sometime between September and April, no midges.
Good luck

Re: Pre-cut Mount board and Frames for Exhibition

Hullo, why not organise your images to the size of the windows and order them from spectrum giving a little area around the image to look good.
That should do the trick

Re: outing to Devils dyke

Hello it seems my day for writing messages today. I was thinking that we should fix an actual day in April soon. I need a consensus for the days we can go. So its a Saturday, either the 6th, or 13th we meet up at the club around 7.30 am it takes approximately 1 hour especially if we leave early. Fra...

Re: SLF Finals Day

hello all, Steve writes that the SLF Finals day will be held at Langley Park. Unfortunately the venue has changed, but fortunately it will be held at Trinity School just opposite the club, the same day, the same time. Perhaps it might allow some of you to come, it can be quite enjoyable, it also all...

Re: Annual exhibition

Hi Ana, hope you gained something from last Wednesday, if you need any more advice email me, that goes for anybody else. You will need frames for the Annual Exhibition. Re: Annual exhibition

Hi Anna, If you come to the club on 13th march (this week ) we will be doing a practical on mounting and printing so everything will be explained on how it is all done.
A visual example will be better than an explanation. Hope that helps.

Re: Dn McCullin exhibition

WOW, I went to the Don McCullin exhibition yesterday it took a couple of hours to see it all. A lot of people there. It is not for the squeamish, but really worth while. Horrifying what people do to each other. Talking about the quality of his pictures seem sick but if they hadn't been any good he w...

Re: outing to Devils dyke

Hullo people, I have just lost a whole paragraph that I wrote, irritating!!! Was thinking of dates for the Devils Dyke outing and have come with three Saturdays because Franke cannot do Sundays, and we seem to be the two with cars. The 6th, 13th and 20th April. If there is no consensus for April whi...

There is also an exhibition of his photos at the Tate Britain from the 5th Feb (Tuesday ) to 6th May.
Both should be good.

outing to Devils dyke

I was looking at a visit I made on the 5th March 2015, touch up images as you do and I thought what a good venue for good day out. It's quite near us about an hour away, good views across the South Downs. Usually there are kite jumpers flying from the top. A good restaurant and long walks if you wan...
