So for Belfast; are people more interested in town (city centre location) or being near the titanic quarter? Mostly to see where the titanic got built...

Laura, happy to keep you company for street photography. Best tips I got are; Go out with a plan eg; take a picture of someone looking at you; get someone to agree to have their picture taken. Something with yellow. Allow a bit of space to allow the magic to happen. Eg someone to walk into the frame...

So my default genres is travel photography. With a good mix of street photography, the odd seascape, and long exposure. I'm planning on doing a bit of nature photographer to stretch me. You can do a lot with a standard zoom lens. But I'm going to use this as an excuse to try out a 100-400 Fuji lens....

In keeping with new year resolutions. have a go at photography genre you don't normally do. Stretch those creative muscles... Love Nature, try people.... For day to day prints I use metro imaging and pro-am, but when I need something nicer like exhibition prints I use spectrum photography in Brighton and good paper. I've found it makes a big difference in quality of the prints. As the shadows and detail come through in a way they can't using pro-am. ...
