Re: Wally and Hilary

Have just logged on and seen this thread and I completely agree with the sentiments expressed by others. I don't know if it was just me, but compared to previous occasions, it seemed to be a particularly large turnout this year. But Wally and Hilary coped magnificently and everyone enjoyed this annu...

Re: Club Outing: Historic Dockyard Chatham - 18 July 2022

Hi Mike. As I mentioned during last week's club evening, I have quite a full diary in July, so regrettably I am unable able to join you at Chatham Dockyard on July 18th. I would have loved to have been there, but family commitments mean that this won't be possible. Regardless, I'm sure that those wh...

Epson 378XL (Squirrel) Ink Cartridges for sale

Re: Suggested Outing - Faversham

Hi Mike,

I would probably be up for this. However, at present, I'm self-isolating with COVID, so I won't be available for a few more days, until I am testing negative once more!

Flatbed scanner trials and tribulations

I thought this might be of interest to anyone who, like me, has an old flatbed scanner that is no longer supported by the original manufacturer. I have a Canoscan 8400F flatbed scanner, purchased in 2005, that can scan both documents (and prints) on the flatbed and also film media (including negativ...

SPAM EMAIL Re; CCC AGM

All, This is just to let you know that I received an email a couple of days ago, with "Croydon Camera Club AGM" as the subject and from a sender called "News". I'm not normally taken in by Spam messages but unfortunately, I absentmindedly opened it on my smartphone and clicked on...

Re: 4th Round DPI Competition Feedback

I wholeheartedly agree with what everyone else has said so far. In fact the entire process was far easier, seamless and more effective than I thought it would be. ...…...And I could enjoy a couple of glasses of red whilst viewing the submitted photos, which beats a cup of coffee any old time ..........

Re: Christmas Meal

I'd just like to add our appreciation to that already shown by others on the forum, for all the effort put in by Wally to arrange the club's Christmas meal.

Great atmosphere, good company and nice food - nuff said!

Thanks again from Kelly and me.
