There is very simple answer to Mikes problem: use the same seating as on Wenesday last but with everyone facing with their back to the windows. The computer could then be plugged in as before with the scorekeepers behind the main audience.

Re: Vigil and street walk
Well done Graham with the pictures from Monday's vigil. Photography with a purpose.
It must have taken quite a while to process this lot before posting to Flikr, especially if they began as raw files rather than JPEGs, as I believe was the case. Or were you shooting raw+JPEG?

Re: Pointless Scoring System
Mike Farley writes; [quote]"….allowing a preview is a well observed convention in most, if not all, clubs and external competitions." Quite so, and there has been no question of requiring the judge to work without the benefit of a preview when judging a competition that must be decided on ...

Re: Crucifixion enactment in Croydon
I suggest you try a close crop like this - no need to change the colour of the man's shoes and concentrates on what I assume (from what you have written) you really want to convey.

Re: Photo essay
An excellent piece of work David, and how good to see a club member working in this way - such a change from the stereotypical stuff that we see in our competitions and, dare I say it, in the general run of images submitted for critique or photo sharing here on the forum. This is full of interest fr...

Re: Third-party Printing Service Recommendations?
ProAm is not only one of our exhibition catalogue advertisers but has also been Nina's supplier of prints for several years. From what I have seen of Nina's print work, ProAm would be my first choice if I did not print myself. What's more, it can only be good for all of us in the club if we support ...

Re: Master Trophy 2015
Page 2 of the downloadable PDF of the 2014-2015 programme on the main club website shows the dates of the three summer competitions, which are 10 and 24 June and 8 July. The Master Trophy date is 8 July. The set theme (subject) has yet to be decided, but will be advised by email and on this forum as...
